Target Audience
if we are going to make a film and have it distributed, it would be a good idea to have a look into the audience we are aiming the film at an who is most likely to watch it E.g. A disney animation is aimed primarily at kids because children are more likely to want to watch a family friendly cartoon. The genre of our film is a horror so are target audience is more than likely above 18, our target audience therefore is anyone over the age of 18 which gives us quite a wide audience to work with. Our film is specifically a zombie thriller and the people that usually watch these films are teenagers because its become a good genre to do with films like "ZombieLand" and "Shaun Of The Dead" making a big impact and raking in quite a bit of money.

Our target audience also means that we have to think about how we as a company have our film distributed, its more than likely that we would captivate a wider audience if we advertised a zombie film on social media than if we used paper based advertising to rake in the crowds, but we can't just put all our eggs in one basket and focus on social media we also have to distribute it to cinemas. we could get a large teenage audience because if we get a good amount of releases at the right time, say in the summer holiday or another time period where they aren't at work or university, then we could get a lot of people to watch our film.
