Making the title sequence in iMovie

Making the title sequence in iMovie

To make the title sequence i used the editorial and movie making software "iMovie", all in all the finished product was quite effective and was just right for our film because it has audio and visual effects that match the genre of our film.
First i made a new project and then defined the length that i wanted (12 seconds to fit into the allocated slot of time we had left over)

I then added some pieces of text that would zip across the screen, i used a font i sourced from "Dafont" called summon the executioner as it looks quite at home in a zombie apocalypse style film, it's covered in an unknown substance, its quite sharp and the overall finish is faded these qualities added together to create a really good font for our opening sequence.

We then added music to the sequence and the music we chose was called "Leo Rosevere - Moonlight And Roses" this particular music works quite well because its quite for boding and creates a dangerous or fearful atmosphere for the viewer. To do this we added the music to it and then stretched it out so that it would fit the title sequence, later we then stretched the music out so that it would fit the rest of our film and now its works very well. the overall atmosphere for the film is now quite dark and the music gives us a hint that something bad is about to happen.
