After researching into the BBFC I believe that our film should be classified as a 15 rating. This means no one aged under 15 will be able to view the film as it is unsuitable for someone so young.
This is because the film will involve lots of violence such as murder and many scenes will include blood and gore. In addition to this the film will feature lots of strong language which shouldn't be spoken in front of young people.
Some examples of 15 horror films include:
- The Conjuring
- Paranormal Activity
- Zombie land
The film is a 15 due to its violence and bad language. However it does not push the barrier into an 18 rating. This is because, although violent, the film will not include sadistic features or sexual activity.
